I haven’t played much guitar since my friend and bandmate, Stewart Grace, left town several years ago. Stew pretty much put songwriting aside to raise his little girls and focus on his job working in the Senate recording studio. Well, a few months ago Stew sent me a song to work on. It was a blast to be playing and recording again. Then he sent another. Then another. Now we have an on-going long distance music project working together in Garageband via email and ftp sites. We’re calling it nine years six months three days.

We plan on creating another blog for the project where we’ll post finished songs for free download. We’ll be looking for other musicians to collaborate with as well. You can download the track ‘Gone’ here. Another former bandmate, Bob Luna, now livinig in Minneapolis, added drum tracks to this one.
